    Human Resource Manager POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Job Description: Human Resources Manager
    Reporting to: Brand CEO | Collaborating departments: All | Start date: 22nd August 2016

    Ringier One Africa Media (ROAM) is Africa's largest digital classifieds group, with a vision to build the continent’s most valued marketplaces. It is a product of a joint venture between Ringier Africa and One Africa Media, and maintains a presence in more than 6 countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Senegal.
    In Tanzania, ROAM operates Brighter Monday, Cheki and ZoomTanzania. ROAM Tanzania is seeking a driven and conscientious Human Resources Manager to support over 35 staff across 3 brands in Tanzania. The ideal candidate will have 4 core areas of work:
    1. Talent recruitment:

    • Understanding on-going resource needs for 3 brands.
    • Collaborating with brand CEOs and relevant team leads to write winning job descriptions.
    • Facilitating intake and screening of qualified Tanzanians.
    • Formulating contracts and KPIs with brand CEOs and relevant team leads.
    • Measuring individual performance quantitatively as well as qualitatively.

    2. Talent management & development:
    • Providing transparent paths for growth to individuals that support broader business goals.
    • Facilitate disciplinary action if and when required.
    • Creating opportunities for staff to learn from one another across departments and brands.
    • Exposing staff to global classifieds and technology industry players and research.
    • Coordinating in-house skill-building opportunities for all staff.


    3. Policy:
    • Monitoring and sharing updates on national and international standards with staff regularly.
    • Overseeing the development and maintenance of the Employee Handbook.
    • Keeping Brand CEOs informed on staff welfare and work satisfaction.
    Remuneration:
    Commensurate with experience, the selected candidate will receive:
    • A highly competitive base salary and allowances, plus an attractive commission structure.
    • A generous quarterly KPI based bonus opportunity.
    • Monthly 10% Employer NSSF contribution.
