The successful applicant will be entrusted with the following main tasks

- maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation relating to SAP products and associated modules and component applications, including operational requirements and release management;
- communicating information to colleagues and ensuring that sufficient documentation is available so that tasks can be assigned to first and second-level support;
- liaising closely with internal customers regarding the design of solutions in order to meet requirements and suggesting potential alternatives, taking account of standardisation considerations and the total cost of ownership.
Applicants must have the following knowledge and competencies
- a master degree in computer science, business engineering or another field relevant to IT;
- substantial professional experience (preferably a minimum of three years) in the field of SAP development or SAP business solution architecture;
- expert knowledge of SAP ABAP Objects, including Web Dynpro for ABAP and SAP WebFlow programming;

- experience in SAP WebFlow design, development and management;
- an understanding of the NetWeaver Portal in respect of creating and managing portal content, working with roles, navigation and user management;
- experience of customising SAP solutions to meet the requirements of public, international or EU organisations;

- understands who his/her clients are and what their expectations are, making improvements to service on the basis of feedback, and has established methods of improving quality in a timely manner;
- manages his/her own workload independently, supporting team members without assuming responsibility for their work;
- examines issues critically and adopts relevant approaches geared towards successful business solutions;
- creates a theoretical framework which aids the deployment of practical solutions;
- identifies connections and relationships between concepts and events;
