Based in the New York, the UNOPS Development Group Cluster supports diverse partners with their peacebuilding, humanitarian and development operations. For example, within the United Nations Development Programme, the Cluster works with the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support and the Office of South-South Cooperation.
The cluster also supports the United Nations Secretariat, as well as a broadening community of other New York-based United Nations organizations in the delivery of project management and implementation services

This position is located in the Enterprise Applications Centre-NY, Office of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Management. Under the overall supervision of UNOPS Senior Programme Manager, the incumbent reports to the ECM Project Manager.

- Serving as a lead expert for Enterprise Document Management System architecting and implementing Enterprise Document Management System
- Providing direction for Setting up regional UniteDocs infrastructure.
- Strategizing migrations from one data centres to another.
- Designing departmental document management applications.
- Designing UniteDocs repositories for various UN OAH's.
Works with minimal amount of supervision; works collaboratively with the ECM team and provides excellent service to our clients
- Implementing Compliance and Records Management solutions.
- Strategizing integration technologies for UniteDocs and other legacy applications.

Education
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering or related field is required.
- A first level university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering or related field in combination with additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- 7 years' experience in Design, Configuration, Administration IBM FileNet P8 is required
- Knowledge of design, Configuration, Administration IBM Enterprise Records (IER) is required.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performing in root cause analysis on FileNet P8, IER to diagnose issues and rectify them is required.
- Administration experience of IBM Content Navigator 2.0.2 , 2.0.3 is required.
- Administration of WebSphere Application Server.
- Experience in developing applications using Java, JSP, Java Script, XML, HTML, DHTML, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Linux.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Knowledge of another UN language(s) desirable.
