SHDEPHA+ Kahama is t seeking to recruit highly qualified, experienced and dynamic individual to fill the DATA MANAGER position for sauti project- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor

Job Description
Bachelor
degree in social work, Planning, economics and statistics and development
studies. Additional training in community health, public health, Monitoring and
Evaluation, community mobilization, counseling is of added advantages.
1. Minimum three years’ experience in M&E department
2. Shall have understand on QA/Q1
3. Community health experiences and capacities.
4. Ability of Community Health Work, Health Committees (villages Health committees, Ward Development committees, Health facilities committees) etc.
5. Able to work with Health staff at different district council levels.
6. Computer literacy is highly required.
7. Able to relate gender, social & culture and maternal health in addressing their challenges accordingly.
8. Able to timely collect, compilation and data analysis as required by the SAUTI.
9. Ability to work 90% in rural and remote areas
10. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensuring data quality through reviewing of all data collection forms submitted to the office by field officers and other data collectors particularly, health unit’s staff, CHWS and identifying the errors and working with data collectors to ensure that the errors are timely addressed.
2. Maintaining proper documentation of the programme including periodic progress reports filling.
3. Ensuring that all data is entered into the database and synchronized into Database Management System on timely manner.
4. Ensuring data and field level are collected according to MCSP guidelines, well kept at all levels, analyzed and results shared with various stakeholders including the donor.
5. Conducting data verification and periodic data audits to ensure data quality at all times
6. Monitor and Advice the technical team on the indicator progress and gaps
7. Conduct DQA in quarterly basis.
MANAGING M&E SYSTEM:
1) Facilitating the Programme performance monitoring plan.
2) Facilitating the programme team in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in line with the programme descriptions and timely submitting to the program manager.
3) Tracking the implementation of the approved work plan to ensure timely accomplishment.
4) Ensuring availability of relevant data collection tools and ensuring consistent use of relevant tools in data collection and reporting processes.
