The Role
A growing Freight Forwarding & Warehousing 3PL business, based in Dubai are currently looking to expand their team and take on two Business Development Manager’s. This will be to focus on selling Sea & Air Freight and Warehousing & supply chain solutions.You will be focussed on selling complete supply chain solutions or customised logistics services to potential customers across a range of industries. With focus on targeting potential customers across a wide range of industries from FMCG, Automotive, O&G, Food, Engineering, Healthcare, Chemicals etc.
Salary:
AED 12,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
You will be focussed on selling complete supply chain solutions or customised logistics services to potential customers across a range of industries. With focus on targeting potential customers across a wide range of industries from FMCG, Automotive, O&G, Food, Engineering, Healthcare, Chemicals etc.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer database to further develop account potential through different products ie Freight (Air, Sea, Road), Value added products and Contract Logistics (Warehousing).
• Responsible to maintain an existing customer database through regular sales visits and undertake sales calls to win new business.
• Develop SOP’s for Strategic Accounts with associated internal colleagues where applicable, to detail all processes, rate structure, and capturing of customer identified KPI.
• Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.
• Manage RFQ’s, tenders and quotes for Freight business and Warehousing business and achieve a high success rate in closing deals.
• Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations, Contract Logistics team, to develop out of the box solutions to support new and existing customers.
• Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present the company and its products and services.
• Analyse and follow the logistics market development in UAE in order to be able to verify company’s approach within logistics 3PL market.
• Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections for new business submissions.

AED 12,000 – 18,000 + Commission
