Tanzanite, a blue/violet gemstone variety of zoisite is only produced in NE Tanzania. TML owns the mining license for Block C-a significant portion of the only known Tanzanite producing resource, located in the follthills of Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. TML is operating an Underground Mine and a Plant at Mererani-Simanjiro Manyara Region, Tanzania.
Job Brief
We are looking for an accountant to professionally handle accounting data in order to provide quantitative information.
Responsibilities
• Manage accounting operations based on accounting principles.
• Be an excellent team player on month-end and year-end close process.
• Collect, analyze and summarize account information.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Develop periodic reports for management.
• Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
• Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups.
• Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.

Eligibility Criterion
• Proven work experience of not less than 4 years in accounting and/or audit or relevant field.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and audit principles and procedures.
• Excellent accounting software user especially pastel evolution.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Advanced degree in Accounting, CPA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
Location: Tanzanite One Mining Limited, Mererani Simanjiro Manyara Region, Tanzania.
