Minimum Qualifications:
|
1. At least Bachelor Degree OR Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management or its equivalent.
2. Must be registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).
|
|
Experience:
|
1.
Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in Purchasing and
Logistics activities in cement or mining industry or its equivalent.
|
|
Main Duties and
|
1. Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
|
|
Responsibilities:
|
2. Prepares
and processes purchase orders, obtains proper business documentation to
validate, set up, assign and track vendor numbers; verifies
appropriateness of cost centres and budget codes.
3. Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships.
4. Determines
and develops appropriate sources of supply and maintains cooperative
working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and
technologies, products and services.
5. Work
with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs,
quality, and delivery requirements. Assist in the development of
specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased.
6. Administer
contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages
and insurance. Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules,
legislations, regulations, standards, and best practices.
7. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.
8. Resolves problems and issues arising from purchase of services, supplies and equipment with internal and external clients.
9. Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) compliance with the company requirements.
10. Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
