The Company
Our client a Listed and Regional Commercial Bank, with operations in
East Africa, Anglophone/Francophone West Africa and the United Kingdom
and a strong professional service culture is seeking to recruit the
following roles.
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manage the Bank’s Balance Sheet;
•Responsible for all the desks in the Treasury Unit: (i) Asset and
Liability Management (ii) FX Trading (iii) Money Market Trading (iv)
Bonds Trading (v) Treasury Bills Trading (vi) Foreign Currency Balance
Sheet (vii) Funds Management;
•Manage profitability and maintain the Banks position as a market
leader; and
Ensure Compliance with the Government/BOT Monetary Policies and all
other matters relating to Treasury.
Qualification and experience required:
•Undergraduate degree;
•A Master’s degree/professional qualifications will be an added
advantage;
•8-10 years relevant working experience;
•Strong knowledge of risk solutions around Forex and Interest Rates and
market dynamics and requirements;
•Strong mathematical and analytical and forecasting skills;
•Good understanding of regulatory compliance guidelines;
•Deep working knowledge of financial markets,; and
•Good relationship management skills
